Kanye West recently partnered his YEEZY brand with Gap Inc. to release a new joint clothing line. On his 44th Birthday, June 8, 2021, the Grammy Award Winner, Producer, Rapper, Singer, Songwriter, Fashion Designer released their first collaboration, the YEEZY Gap Round Jacket. The release was priced at $200, and was made available for Pre-order Sale for Fall 2021. The jacket sold out in hours. Gap said that this release brought on the most traffic their website had seen, to date- so much so, that the website crashed. Within the first 30 minutes of the YEEZY Gap Round Jacket's release alone, there were over 55,000 visitors that had come to the Gap website. Gap says that they were not expecting the initial response, including the capacity crash of the website, due to the item being made available for pre-order only, and there not being elaborate promotion carried out prior to the jacket being sold online. The YEEZY Gap Round Jacket is a bright blue jacket, puffer style, with accentuated sleeves, and a stand up collar. It is made of recycled nylon, and has no zipper or buttons.
